A rare antique Victorian cobalt blue glass rolling pin, approximately 31cm long, decorated with gilt transfers including the patriotic slogan “Love a Sailor” and a commemorative panel reading “H.M.S. Duke of Wellington – Success to the Baltic Fleet.” Produced during the Crimean War period (circa 1854–1856), this beautiful piece celebrates the Royal Navy’s Baltic Fleet and makes an exceptional example of Victorian maritime memorabilia, kitchenalia and cobalt glass.
